Abolish the "N" word is an organization that was started in 2006 to bring awareness of the historically negative effects the "N" word has had in society to those who have forgotten and to those who never knew and to discontinue use of the "N" word in art, culture and everyday language. ATNW also feels that: Until the pain of this word no longer lingers in society for any of us, we cannot continue to use the "N" word. Every time we use the "N" word it is a slap in the face of our elders and a blatant disrespect to our ancestors. We have not only lost our minds, but we’ve lost consciousness. The dependency of this word as a greeting, to complete sentences and start conversations is a total disregard for every movement that gave us the many freedoms we enjoy today. This site is our answer to a call to duty. We now challenge you to make a personal commitment and join us in the movement to abolish the "N" word.

I Never Use the Word Nigger believes that we cannot stop racist language from spewing out of people, especially individuals of an older generation, but as a society we have a social responsibility to educate our children so they can grow up to be open minded leaders and not in the dark about who they are and where they come from. The goal of this site is to start a dialogue amongst people to not just stop using the word nigger but to come to a place where we are all on the same page fighting for racial justice. |

The United Voices for a Common Cause (UVCC) pledges to not use the n-word as we strive toward cultural integrity and mutual respect for all Americans and to offer uncompromising resistance to social forces and structures which deny or limit our ability to do so; to promote racial harmony, self-respect, pride and dignity affirming the highest of standards and values for our communities.
